The 4 R's
The world, our flesh, and the devil are ways deception and destruction enter our lives. We have been given spiritual weapons to stand against them, and to demolish the strongholds they try to have in our thinking and actions (2 Cor. 10:3-5).
To demolish strongholds, we must:

Other sources may include how we interpret trauma and injustices. However, lies only have power when we believe in them rather than the truth. When we believe lies, we act on them.
Once the lies and sinful responses have been exposed and God’s truth has been revealed, Repent for believing the lies and for your sinful choices, Receive God’s forgiveness, Rebuke the enemy, and Replace the lies/sin with God’s truth.
Repentance is a change of mind that results in a change of heart and a change in action.

- Replace lies with God’s Truth
- Replace sin with Repentance
- Replace unbelief with Faith

- Personal vows/decisions. E.g., “I will always be an outsider.â€
- Word curses spoken by ourselves or others. E.g., “You’ll never amount to anything.â€
- Temptation/deception. E.g., “I need this to be happy."
