God Opened a Door

For more than 25 years, Every Nation Church Seattle has experienced God's faithfulness through every season. We've gathered in theaters, churches, rented spaces, online, and most recently at the Hub. Through every transition, God has continued to build His Church.

Recently, an unexpected opportunity opened. The Hallows Church invited us to purchase their building directly so that gospel ministry could continue in that place.

After much prayer, conversation, and discernment, we believe this opportunity aligns remarkably well with our mission and long-term vision.

While buildings are never the mission, they can remove barriers to ministry.  We believe this opportunity will allow us to serve our church family, our city, and future generations in new ways.

This opportunity isn't simply about owning a building. It's about creating a home that removes barriers to ministry and creates space for people to encounter Jesus, grow in community, and be sent into the city.

Why this building?
This opportunity came to us unexpectedly through our broker and Hallows Church, whose leadership desired for their building to continue serving as a place where the gospel is proclaimed. As we've prayed, asked questions, and carefully evaluated the opportunity, we've become increasingly convinced that this building is an excellent fit for the mission God has given Every Nation Church Seattle.

Located just minutes from the Hub, it nearly doubles our ministry space while remaining close to the communities and university campuses we're called to serve. Most importantly, it creates opportunities to strengthen discipleship, children's ministry, leadership development, and hospitality for years to come.
How did this opportunity come about?
We weren't actively looking for a building when this opportunity came to us. Our real estate broker introduced us to Hallows Church as they were discerning the future of their building. Their hope was to see it continue serving as a place where the gospel is proclaimed and disciples are made.

Since then, our elders have spent the past month praying, asking questions, seeking wise counsel, and carefully evaluating whether this is the opportunity God has placed before us. After much prayer and discernment, we believe it is.
How will we pay for the building?
We believe it's important to pursue this opportunity with both faith and wise stewardship. The purchase will be funded through a combination of financing, existing church reserves, and the generosity of our church family and ministry partners through the Home in the City campaign.

Throughout the process, our elders have been committed to making financially responsible decisions while trusting God to provide what is needed for each step of the journey.
What happens to the Hub?
The Hub will continue serving our church as we move through this transition. While there are still important details to work through, our desire is to make any transition thoughtfully and communicate clearly along the way.

As plans become more defined, we'll share updates well in advance so everyone knows what to expect.
What happens to The Hallows Church?
Hallows Church has faithfully served the Wallingford community for many years. As they conclude this chapter of their ministry, their leadership has chosen to entrust their building to another gospel-centered church so that ministry can continue in that space.

We are deeply grateful for their faithfulness and see this not simply as the transfer of a building, but as a continuation of God's work through another local church.
How can I participate?
There are many meaningful ways to participate in this journey. Most importantly, we invite everyone to pray with us as we seek God's continued guidance and provision.
