4. Jesus Sentenced to be Crucified

Jesus is sentenced to be crucified:  

John 19:1-16

Contemplate the immense suffering Jesus endured during his crucifixion, despite being innocent. 

- Pray for a deeper understanding of the sacrificial love displayed by Jesus on the cross. Ask for the grace to live lives of selfless love and service, following the example of Christ.

- Pray for those who suffer unjustly today, that they may find comfort and strength in the knowledge of Jesus' solidarity with them.
