Prophetic Word from Sarah Gordon

I heard the Spirit of the Lord say The time of SHIFT is upon us. A new way of doing church= the Kingdom way, not the ways of the Empire bound by tradition and religion. This shift comes with the next generation rising up in leadership.

To the next generations: You ARE out of your depth. You cannot walk out your calling in your own strength. Depend on the Lord. Do not dismiss the wisdom of those who have gone before you. Find yourself spiritual parents. Fear not. Be brave, be vulnerable and obey. Seek the Lord while He may be found. He has things to tell you and show you. Jeremiah 33:3 says Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know. The time is now. Call to Him. Respect and honor those who have gone before you, you wouldn't be able to do what you are called to do without them, they have paved the way for you.

1 Timothy 4:12- Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself as an example of those who believe.

2 Timothy 2:22- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

To the older generations: It's time to let go! See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 43:19) As the scripture teaches, "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

In these last days this is the most important calling. For the older generations to pray, to parent, to mentor, to teach and to guide and support. RELEASE and IMPART! Now is the time to lay down your ego and prepare the way of the Lord! Pray! Pray! Pray! Pass the baton and embrace your new season! It's not a matter of being put on the shelf, or being overlooked and ignored, it's a matter of preparing for the future. In all your spheres of influence, sow into the next generations.

God is bringing a balance. In a culture that idolizes youth, there will be renewed honor for those who have gone before, who have been faithful in adversity and suffering, who have a bone deep revelation of grace. Honor the wisdom that has been imparted to the older generations. God is restoring a true cross-generational culture of love and honor.
